QUADRIGA Ancients

We are pleased to offer a fine selection of Judaean bronze coins, which we receive direct from an antiquities dealer in Israel. These coins date from the time of Herod (40 BC - 4 BC) to the time of the Jewish War (66-70 AD). This section of our catalogue features thumbnails, which can be clicked on to display full-sized images. Full-sized images of individual coins are all scanned at 300% magnification. Attribution numbers are from David Hendin's Guide to Biblical Coins, Third Edition (1996).

Legend in a wreath tied with an X at the bottom / Palm branch surrounded by the inscription KAICAPO (Caesar) and the date (LE). Hendin 653.
